Day 24: Woman-Thing in Red

I'm moving slower than a snail with no slime on these.

Today you've got Woman in Red, a character I'm not too familiar with.

Women of Comics Week

Okay, so this week is tough. I'm going with the women of comics theme.

Think of it as if it were a woman that became the man-thing, rather than a man. Or Man-Thing in drag if that's your thing. I've got pencils done, but I'll be posting some real art tomorrow. You've been warned!

Man-Thing vs the World!

Jumping on the Scott Pilgrim band wagon. Just a man-thing drawing in Bryan Lee O'Malley style. 1 up!

I'll be taking this week off since I've only just finished up last week's art. Get ready for a different theme next week!

Day 22: He-Man-Thing

Man-Thing and the Masters of the Universe!

Day 23: Powdered Toast Man-Thing

Sorry for the delay guys.

Powdered Toast
ready to boast,
starting my morning with an early roast.

I'm dead tired and that non-sense rhyme was the best I could come up with.

Day 20: Quail-Man-Thing

Let's see what Patty Mayonnaise has to say about this guy's beets!

Day 19: Cartman-Thing

A new student to the town of South Park. The cold seems to be frosting his vegetable mass. Shrinkage, you know? A couple of cheesy poofs and some chicken pot pie and everything will be all right.

Man-Thing LIVE

Just to cap off videogame week, here's my xbox avatar with some man-thingification. Enjoy!

And if anyone wants to get their butts kicked on xbox live, you can add me: donalejandro81.

Day 18: Gordon Freeman-Thing

City 17 has a new problem. Not a man, not a thing, but the one free Man-Thing. The combine call him the "Crowbar Samurai".

There hasn't been a headcrab yet that could get a hold of the three appendages on his face.

Day 17: Bomberman-Thing

First of all, sorry for the delay. Due to that, I'll give away 5 prints of the Man-Thing day of your choice. First 5 to email me at will get one.

Now to business.

Day 16: Seaman-Thing

Man-Thing has been swimming in the swamp water too long. If he had relations with a fish, this is what occurs.
Seaman was by far one of the creepiest, yet most fun games I've ever played. It came out for the Dreamcast and was one of the only games with a microphone at the time. This fish with a man face would at first just swim around with its brothers and sisters in a tank, eventually to suck the life out of them with a tube on top of its head. You were then left with the last fish standing (or swimming). You awake the next day to find out he now asks questions and wants to learn about your life. A fish with a man-face asking you how your day went. Yup. Awesome. I eventually trained mine enough to become a moth-like creature and then die.

Also, here's an extra drawing I did a few months ago. The man-face hyenas.

Happy Man-Thing Birthday!

So, as posted earlier, my birthday was yesterday. My brother, Joe, had already drawn me a Man-Thing based card along with his gift, which was the 3rd "Y: The Last Man" hardcover and I recommend the series to anyone who hasn't read it. Check it out on Day 14's post.

Little did I know this wasn't the only Man-Thing based gift. My girlfriend, Terri, who I thought would be sick of hearing about my Man-Thing (pun intended), bought me a Man-Thing figure! It even came with a comic! She had him play dress-up in an outfit of mine. Feast your eyes on AleManjandro-Thing!

Whatever knows fear burns at the touch of the Man-Thing's art!

Day 15: Pokéman-Thing

Gotta catch all the Man-Things!
Man-Thing has set forth on the adventure all young boys make, the adventure of Pokemon Mastery! So far, Man-Thing has only been at it for a few weeks, but has caught a considerable amount of pocket monsters and has the Elite Four in his sights. The only set-back he has is that every other trainer seems to be trying to capture Man-Thing for themselves.

Strangely enough, I dusted off the old gameboy today and look at who I found running around Viridian Forest!

Day 14: Mega Man-Thing

PRESS START. It's video game week!

Man-Thing has gone 8-bit.

It's also my birthday today, and my brother, Joe, left this note in my room for when I got home. Hope you like it as much I did.
